BNI is the shortened name of "Business Network International". BNI is an organisation which helps it's members to grow their business by referral.

There are over 100,000 members if BNI worldwide and over 5,000 chapters.

Only one representative of any one discipline (e.g. web design or plumbing) is allowed per chapter. The rest of the members of the chapter represent your sales force and will actively seek out business opportunities for you. At each meeting, referrals for guranteed opportunities to do business are passed between members. The member passing the referral will already have qualified the opportunity for you and made sure that the prospect is EXPECTING your call.

On average, a seat in a UK chapter is worth approximately £25,000. Could you do with this much extra business?
