AETP provides education, training and advice services, usually within workplaces but also in non-work situations. Expertise lies in occupational health, child accident prevention and risk management, and a broad spectrum of First Aid training.
AETP is a Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Approved Training Organisation and offers the range of First Aid at Work (FAW) courses and certification including:
- x3-day FAW
- x2-day FAW Requalification
- x1-day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)
- Refresher training.
AETP also offers:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) /CPR training for GP and dental surgeries
- Anaphylaxis Management – for surgeries and other groups eg parents, schools
- Defibrillation Courses – for GPs and dental surgeries and other groups eg any organisation which holds a defib on the premises
- Short courses on home safety and/or First Aid tailored to specific groups eg schools, children, nannies and au pairs, groups of adults eg young parents; and more.
Child Accident Prevention and Risk Management training brings insight into the scale of the accident and injury problem to help develop strategies and best practice in prevention in the childcare sector. This is vital training for Children's centres, childminders and nursery and school staff.
